Top Ebay Sales!!

Hello and happy Friday!!!
Guess what???
I have a new Follower!!
It is none other than the wonderful
Laura from My Dear Trash
I have been following this blog for about a year.
And now she is one of my followers!
This blog is what really got me into selling on ebay.
They ( Laura and Kelly) have AMAZING advice. They also
sell on Craigslist a lot. I need help in this area.
I think I'm just to shy to talk to people on the phone and have them come to my house (which is always dirty with 3 little chickies running around). but I have lots to sell and it's to cold for a yard sale. So I'm giving it a try this week. Everything I have to get rid of is stuff I have picked up for free from Craigslist or curb shopping. So it would be 100% total profit. Sounds good to me!

Used for functionality not noticability.

How many times a day you walk past your stove? I'm guessing more times than you want to count. From filling sippy cups with milk to throwing away dirty diapers. Getting a glass of water to chasing the two year old around. I have just today at noon walked by the stove 53 times. How many times did I stop and really think about what this object does for my family. None! Its black. Its plain. It has a broken glass top.BUT.... it feeds and nourishes my family. I cook every meal on this stove but when I don't need it I don't even notice it. This is exactly how I feel today. I'm just a big box sitting here taking up space until somebody needs me. I have a cracked top or really bad split ends. I'm smeared with grease that I have no idea where it came from. And I can't remember the last time the inside of me was cleaned out. Maybe there is more of a problem going on inside of me than my zolft 150mg can fix. Lately I've been so lazy. I don't wanna do anything. If I try to getting going on something I tire myself out just thinking about it. I can't sleep at night til about 2am. My mind just won't shut off. I think its time to do something about this. Any words of advice? I am clinically depressed. I know this. But I take my medicine everyday and it has worked up until the last 2 weeks. Maybe I have built up a tolerance to the medicine and need something new. Who knows? But I'll never know if I don't go call the doctor. But will I? I'm already getting anxiety about calling. Just making a stupid phone call. I'm tired of living with this anxiety and I want it to stop. So I'm taking the first step now! Wish me luck.

Waiting for summer!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER! We had a very mild winter so far. I just can't help longing for summer. I think I'm just wanting to decorate for summer. In the pictures is the new lamp I made. I took a old bottle from a garage sale (that has been sitting in my garage ever since I bought it) that cost me a whole $.25. Then I took a lamp my daughter spotted in someones trash when we were curb shopping (also just sitting in my garage since we picked it up along with all the other junk I HAD TO HAVE). Its pretty nice to go shop in my own garage. Sometimes I don't even know what's in there and I'm the one who picked it ALL up. Anyways I took the lamp apart and took the wiring out of it. I then mounted the part where the light bulb goes in (no clue what its call) to the top of my bottle. No need to drill a hole or anything. Then I recovered a lamp shade I found at the thrift store today for $.98 with burlap using my new black and decker glue gun I bought at another thrift store for $5. Here is a great tutorial * Remodelaholic *: Glass Vase to Painted Blue Lamp : Guest

Thanks for your time!

Not quite a plan

Ok so the plan to list 100 items a day was crazy. So starting next week I'm adding 40 ebay items a day. 20 at nap time and 20 after the kids go to bed. I've only listed 50 items this week but 3 already have bids! I did all skirts and a few dresses. Just in time for spring. I can't wait for spring. I have lots of new plants that I can't wait to see! Anyway back to ebay. I will post my totals next friday. I'm going buy a new van. Not sure what kind yet but we have ran out of seats in our suv. So its time for a mini van. I would love to pay for it with money made on ebay. Well thats all I have for now but here is a little something I'm working on.

Gift card spending!!!

OK so my Gma (grandma) got all of us granddaughters $40 gift cards to TJ Maxx for Christmas. So today after my doctor appointment the boys and I went over to TJ Maxx which is pretty far out of the way. I was differently hoping for something great. Not quite. Clearance sweaters were $20..... clearance to me means like 5 bucks. OK I know that sounds cheap, right?!?!?! I just wanted to make the $40 spread as thin as I could. We left and went to the Marshall's by my house ( TJ Maxx and Marshall's are sister stores or something like that). Now this store I know up and down! I thought maybe I would buy a new bedding set for my room but I just couldn't find what I wanted. Right across from the bed-in-bags were these AMAZING BLANKETS!!!! I love blankets, Anytime I'm sitting on the couch watching TV I have to have a blanket. Well every blanket I make for myself end up in my children's beds and cribs and I can never find them. I think my children might take after me with the whole blanket fetish.

Anyway I picked up this beautiful little girl for $16!
So soft and warm....mmmm I love her!

Next I headed over to the kids clothing even know I told myself I was going to spend all this money on ME. I still had to look.

I found these leggings for Ms.Kay ( my 7 year old girly). How rocker 80's cool are these! and their purple :) I love purple and best of all they were $5!! So I had to pick them up.

By this time Mr. Drake ( my 2 year old) had filled the cart with every truck in the store. I wish I had taken a picture. It made me laugh. We cleared out the cart of all the truck and put them all away by color ( little smarty pants anyway) I thought I should find something to wear for New Years Eve. That's when I found this cover up.

 Cute right!?!?!
The picture just doesn't to I Justice.
It's like a cute little neck blanket with ruffles.
 HELLO BLANKET!
Now you know why I had to buy it.
It was $20 but to amazing to put back.

I thought it wasn't dressy enough for New Years but if I belted it with a cute skinny purple belt that would dress it up.  $10

What do you think?
 Kinda weird on the hanger.
I'll post pictures when I wear it to show its true beauty.
 So my total  was $51.
I went a little over but not to bad!
Thank you grandma. I love my Christmas presents!!

p.s. sorry about the sideways pictures.

Here we go 2011!!!

Hello all! This year on my blog k.hardt I am going to challenge myself more than I ever have before and I'd like to bring you a long for the ride. Everything from making money to losing weight. I'm going to start off with money making! EBay style! Here in Omaha Nebraska we have Goodwill. And at goodwill we have color weeks. This means if the color is blue then everything with a blue tag is $1.00 for the week. The color changes every Monday. So you can only imagine how crazy Monday's are. Anyway I started selling on eBay to earn money to go on our trip to Cabo.I made really good money doing this so I thought why not try for the month of January to add 100 items a day selling them at $5 an item. This means I could earn roughly 15000 give or take in one month!!!! I have a HUGE pile of clothing sitting in my basement ready to be put on eBay.

I can't believe I'm showing this.

I'll be starting New Years Day and I'll keep you posted every week on my top sellers and my total profit. Remember I had only paid a dollar for each item and the starting price will start at $5. It all adds up to be a pretty nice profit!
